Good news all around: new advisor and acceptance into the Nvidia Inception Program
We are very happy to share some good news with you. While we are celebrating Prasad Calyam, Associate Professor from the University of Missouri officially joining us as a technical advisor, we got the news about our acceptance into the Nvidia Inception Program. Both news are very significant in terms of helping us leapfrog in the space of AIOPS. Let us tell you more details. Here we go…

With the addition of Prof. Prasad Calyam as our technical advisor, our technical team has become stronger and more resolute in our pursuit of AIOPS. Prasad directs the VIMAN Lab (Virtualization, Multimedia and Networking Lab) at the University of Missouri-Columbia. VIMAN in Sanskrit means “Aircraft” – a vehicle to discover magical clouds! The broad focus of VIMAN Lab research is on developing novel methods to model, measure, manage and secure cloud-based applications that have real-time needs and require high-speed networks.
Cloud computing has become integral in enterprises, and end-user applications (e.g., remote visualization, video-on-demand, videoconferencing, real-time data analytics). It has had profound impact in fields such as healthcare, advanced manufacturing, bioinformatics and even consumer entertainment that are increasingly data-intensive and network-dependent. Consequently, VIMAN Lab projects are motivated by the bold challenges in developing theoretical foundations, new techniques and tools for ‘application use-inspired cloud computing’ for meeting the end-user Quality of Experience (QoE) expectations. Recent projects at VIMAN Lab have focused on edge computing, virtual reality, augmented reality, science gateways and cloud security.

We are a growing company, and very proud of these good news. Hope you share the joy with us. To try our Insight Edition, please sign up here.
